About the role
- Security Systems Specialist supporting Safeguards and Security operations at UDR. Assisting in the administration of security systems and monitoring daily performance.
Responsibilities
- Support Safeguards and Security (S&S) operations
- Assist in the administration of physical security systems such as physical access control systems (PACS) and video assessment and surveillance systems (VASS)
- Monitor daily system performance to ensure proper functionality
- Assist end users in performing basic troubleshooting to restore functionality during system disruptions
- Liaise with and support cognizant engineers or other technical experts to resolve issues
- Develop training for end users, including providing demonstrations
- Perform routine tests of security systems
- Provide information necessary for decision making on compliance, significant issue resolution, and lifecycle sustainment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or Associate’s degree with four (4) years of professional experience, or High School Diploma or Equivalency with eight (8) years of professional experience is required
- Must be technologically proficient
- Active "Q" Clearance Certification or experience with CCure 9000 System Software House AC9410 System Managers Software House AC9006 Advanced System Managers Avigilon Control Center experience
- United States Citizenship
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a "Q" Clearance
