Responsibilities
Business Partnering: Act as the financial/business partner for Production and Supply Chain, perform in-depth ad hoc analyses (e.g., make-or-buy) and support major investment projects to enable optimal decision-making.
Cost & Variance Analyses: Prepare detailed analyses of production costs as well as price and volume variances, and derive clear, actionable recommendations for the operational teams.
Standard Price Management: Define standard prices for materials as part of the budgeting process and calculate standard prices for finished products based on current cost and volume data.
Volume & Production Statistics: Process intercompany volumes and prepare tonnage and production statistics to ensure transparency of quantity flows and production performance.
Forecasting & Performance: Support forecasting processes with a focus on productivity, COGS and efficiency improvements, and contribute to the ongoing development of relevant control metrics.
Period-end Closing & Reporting: Ensure accurate postings during the period-end close and prepare precise reports that provide a reliable basis for management and control decisions.
Requirements
Professional Qualification: Degree in business administration (HF/FH/University) or equivalent and substantial work experience in production controlling, ideally in a dynamic, broad-ranging role.
Business Partnering Competence: Ability to support Production and Supply Chain, challenge processes critically, and proactively initiate improvements with strong self‑initiative.
Systems & Methodological Competence: Proficient in S/4HANA and Excel, strong analytical skills and a hands-on mentality.
Communication Strength: Clear and open communicator who enjoys preparing complex topics in an understandable way, both verbally and in writing.
Stakeholder Management: Enjoy working with different departments, communicate confidently with management and our international parent company, and present analyses and ideas effectively.
Language Skills: Negotiation-level German and fluent English in an international context to facilitate collaboration within the group.
