- Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with the CFO and executive team to align accounting operations with corporate strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with the wholesale distribution industry and inventory accounting practices.
- Five to eight years experience, some Public Accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in financial systems, including ERP software (Infor EPM).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to engage with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
