About the role
- Software Systems Engineer developing IT solutions by eliciting requirements and testing solutions at TrueTandem. Supporting production systems and collaborating with developers in the Washington DC area.
Responsibilities
- Eliciting and documenting requirements from the customer.
- Designing the solution and communicating with the customer.
- Developing the solution individually and/or with the aid of 1-2 non-customer facing developers.
- Testing the solution.
- Facilitation user acceptance testing with the customer and triaging / resolving customer reported issues.
- Deploying solution following customer identified processes (CICD or Manual methods).
- Ensuring production systems are performing efficiently and effectively (Production support).
Requirements
- Must be located in the Washington DC area, with ability to travel to Herndon and Lanham, MD for occasional work.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Six years of professional experience

- Microsoft SQL Server: Design/Create/Maintain Tables, Stored Procedures, Functions, Jobs, general T-SQL skillset.
- User Interface
- C# .NET 4.8 (MVC) based
