About the role

  • Design Estimator role at Trinity Fire & Security Systems focusing on bespoke fire and security systems. Manage projects from pre-tender to post-tender, ensuring compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed, accurate costings for fire alarm, CCTV, access control, intruder alarm, and other life-safety and security systems.
  • Develop compliant, tailored fire and security solutions that meet client requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Project Management, and Engineering teams to ensure designs are practical, buildable, and aligned with Trinity’s quality standards.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date records of designs, quotations, and client communications within the CRM system.
  • Stay informed of emerging technologies, product developments, and changes in standards, legislation, and market trends.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of fire alarm systems and BS5839 standards.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a customer-first attitude.
  • Firequal Fundamentals certification or equivalent.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when needed.
