About the role

  • Controller/Buchhalter supporting clients with financial tasks including budgeting and reporting. Involved in developing financial processes and guidelines at TriFinance in Munich.

Responsibilities

  • You will support our clients in the operational day-to-day, working on topics such as budget planning, budget vs. actual comparisons and ad-hoc analyses, and in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and international standards (e.g., IFRS, US-GAAP), thereby gradually building your expertise across all finance areas.
  • In addition, you will work conceptually on projects, for example: developing and enhancing management reports (e.g., using analytics tools).
  • Designing and implementing new process structures in general ledger and subledger processes as well as in classic controlling processes (budgeting, planning, reporting).
  • Implementing new accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 16) and preparing new accounting guidelines.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration/Economics, ideally with a focus on Accounting and Controlling, or a comparable commercial/vocational qualification.
  • At least 2–7 years of professional experience in accounting or controlling.
  • Confident user of a common ERP system (e.g., SAP or DATEV) and good MS Office skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required in a consulting environment.
  • Team-player with strong communication skills and pronounced analytical abilities.
  • Fluent German language skills.
  • High level of initiative and enjoyment of autonomous project work.
