About the role

  • Controller/Buchhalter supporting clients in financial operations and advisory projects at TriFinance. Involves budgeting, reporting, and implementing accounting standards.

Responsibilities

  • You support our clients in day-to-day operational tasks such as budget planning, target/actual comparisons and ad-hoc analyses, as well as preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and international standards (e.g. IFRS, US GAAP), thereby gradually building your expertise across all finance areas.
  • In addition, you work conceptually on projects such as creating and further developing management reports (e.g., using analytics tools).
  • Design and implementation of new process structures in general ledger and subledger processes as well as in classic controlling processes (budgeting, planning, reporting).
  • Implementation of new accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 16) and the preparation of new accounting guidelines.

Requirements

  • Degree in economics/business administration, ideally with a focus on accounting and controlling, or a comparable commercial qualification.
  • At least 2–7 years of professional experience in accounting or controlling.
  • Confident user of common ERP systems (e.g., SAP or DATEV) and strong MS Office skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required in a consulting environment.
  • Team player with strong communication skills and pronounced analytical abilities.
  • Fluent German language skills.
  • High level of initiative and enjoyment of independent project work.
