About the role

  • Junior Accountant focusing on group accounting in Finance team. Engaging in consolidation, reporting, and process automation in Munich.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements prepared under HGB, including performing monthly consolidation entries.
  • Support the preparation of group and annual financial statements and assist with audits under HGB.
  • Further develop, standardize and automate accounting processes.
  • Independently take on and manage selected projects within the accounting area.
  • Act as a point of contact for tax advisors, auditors and internal stakeholders.
  • Perform preparatory accounting for holding companies.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting or Finance, or a commercial qualification in accounting or tax.
  • 1–2 years of relevant work experience in accounting, ideally in audit, tax or a comparable finance role.
  • Strong analytical thinking, a structured working style and a high affinity for numbers.
  • Team player with a sense of responsibility and the motivation to actively shape finance processes.
  • Very good MS Excel skills and solid knowledge of HGB.
  • Knowledge of LucaNet, DATEV or IFRS is desirable.
  • Good communication skills in German and English, at least B2 level spoken and written.
