About the role

  • Bauingenieur/Projektingenieur responsible for planning and implementing structures in Germany. Work includes steel structures and foundations for transmission towers with major energy providers.

Responsibilities

  • As a Civil/Project Engineer in the field of structural engineering (statics), you are responsible for the design, calculation and technical implementation of steel structures and foundations for overhead transmission line towers.
  • You independently design and calculate steel structures and foundations for transmission line towers (110 kV to 380 kV) on behalf of all major German energy suppliers and transmission system operators.
  • You prepare and check detailed execution drawings with a strong eye for detail and ensure that all technical and safety-related requirements are met.
  • During the tender phase, you prepare tender documentation and thereby actively support project acquisition.
  • You create system drawings, carefully review workshop drawings and release them for implementation.
  • You maintain close coordination with our clients to agree on technical details and ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements

  • A successfully completed university or (technical) college degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering, structural design (Structural Engineering), infrastructure and environmental engineering or a comparable degree.
  • Practical experience in structural design and static calculations with a focus on steel construction, reinforced concrete and foundation engineering, preferably in the area of overhead lines or related infrastructure projects.
  • Very good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
  • Experience with structural analysis programs such as RSTAB, RFEM or similar tools, as well as familiarity with relevant standards and regulations, is an advantage.

  • Fluent German language skills, both spoken and written, are required.
