About the role
- Consultant in Business Performance Analytics using data and analytics to influence strategy. Identifying trends and opportunities for the Business Insurance Business Process Management team with actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Use descriptive and diagnostic analysis to identify business trends.
- Conduct ad hoc reporting and analysis and create presentations using data visualization and storytelling to communicate business results.
- Monitor data to recognize patterns and identify possible trends.
- Support Proofs of Concept to inform business strategies.
- Work with data towards the ultimate design required to meet business requests.
- Monitor business results to determine if desired results are achieved, with guidance.
- Complete reasonability and validation tests with direction.
- May participate on projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), Economics, Business, or related.
- Two years of analytics or related experience working in the P&C industry.
- Exposure and some working knowledge of business intelligence tools.
- Developing understanding of business functions, operations, analytic functions and/or product of supported business line.
- Knowledge of descriptive analytic processes, including data quality, data reporting, and data retrieval.
- Ability to effectively communicate and present technical data and trends.
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships with business partners.
- Analytical mindset.
