About the role

  • IT Support Specialist acting as the first point of contact for IT inquiries at The Quality Group. Installing software, troubleshooting hardware, and managing user accounts in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • You are the first point of contact for support requests via phone or ticketing system
  • You install, configure and update software applications
  • You assist with hardware issues such as desktops, laptops, printers and other devices
  • You manage user accounts and access rights
  • You prepare and configure end-user devices for new employees
  • You document support requests, solutions and workflows in detail
  • You escalate complex requests to the appropriate support level

Requirements

  • You have completed vocational training in IT or possess an equivalent qualification
  • You have experience in an IT service desk or customer support role
  • You have solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows, macOS and Office applications
  • You have a basic understanding of network technologies and IT infrastructure
  • You are a team player, communicative and service-oriented
  • You find pragmatic solutions and keep an overview even in stressful situations
  • You are willing to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies
  • You are fluent in German and English
