About the role

• Quality Assurance Specialist at Tirolez managing food safety compliance and training for quality assurance. Responsible for internal audits and regulatory adherence with a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage corporate quality documentation in accordance with the Quality and Food Safety Management System to meet regulatory agencies (MAPA and ANVISA) and customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with the Quality Training Matrix by monitoring monthly scheduled and completed trainings, aiming to qualify employees according to regulatory requirements (MAPA/ANVISA), food safety standards and customer requirements.
• Manage internal and external audits by monitoring schedules, coordinating appointments, providing logistical support for auditors, publishing reports, tracking action plan responses and performance indicators, with the goal of ensuring internal processes and driving continuous improvement.
• Coordinate implementation and provide support for configuration of Quality Management software by issuing reports, supporting training for new users and promoting use of available system tools, to ensure standardization across manufacturing units.
• Direct and audit the implementation and/or maintenance of FSSC 22000 Certification Scheme requirements with a focus on continuous improvement, ensuring process compliance related to quality and food safety.
• Direct and audit the preparation and implementation of corporate documents across company departments to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies (MAPA and ANVISA) and customer requirements.
• Direct and audit the development, implementation and review of quality tools such as HACCP, Food Fraud, Food Defense, Crisis Management, Traceability, Product Withdrawal and Recall, in order to meet regulatory and food safety standards and ensure process compliance.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine, Dairy Science or related fields in the food industry
• Preferred education: Specialization / Postgraduate degree in Quality Management and/or Food Safety
• Experience: minimum 5 years in food quality assurance, experience with FSSC 22000 certification
• Specific knowledge: intermediate Office software
• Dairy product manufacturing processes
• Legislation relevant to the dairy sector
• Knowledge of classical Quality tools
• Knowledge of Prerequisite Programs (Good Manufacturing Practices - GMP)
• Knowledge of Food Safety Management Programs
• Knowledge of Quality and Food Safety management tools/software
• Knowledge of food legislation (MAPA, ANVISA)
