Responsibilities
Responsible for the mechanical development and design of our special/custom machines
Support the entire lifecycle of machines from concept through development, assembly, acceptance testing to commissioning
Preparation of specifications, requests for quotations and technical documentation
Training of operators and maintenance teams after commissioning
Identifying improvement potential and designing further development of mechanical components
Operational leadership of small technical teams within project work
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical qualification
Several years of professional experience in special machine construction
Solid knowledge of 3D design and confident use of CAD systems (ideally Creo)
Confident communication in German and English; French skills are an advantage
Strong technical analysis skills, logical thinking and a proactive approach
Willingness to travel for approximately eight one-week assignments per year
