- Develop and maintain mainframe-based applications using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2 technologies
- Own end-to-end design, development, testing, and successful deployment of application code

- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and quality assurance activities
- Identify, triage, and resolve application defects and performance issues
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience required

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in COBOL development
- 5+ years of experience working with JCL in a mainframe environment
- 5+ years of experience with VSAM file structures and data management
- 5+ years of experience with DB2 database technologies including query writing and performance optimization
- Working understanding of CA7 for job scheduling and workload automation
- Working understanding of Endevor for software change and configuration management
