About the role
- Associate Consultant for Microsoft Security focused on supporting the delivery of security solutions. Collaborate with experienced consultants and learn in a remote-first environment with occasional onsite work.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of Microsoft security, compliance, identity, and endpoint management solutions under guidance from senior consultants.
- Assist with customer engagements, including discovery sessions, documentation, demonstrations, and implementation.
- Contribute to security reviews, basic assessments, and gap analyses.
- Help prepare materials such as presentations, reports, and technical notes.
- Learn to evaluate and advise on Microsoft security tools, gradually taking on more client-facing work as you develop.
- Collaborate with your colleagues on internal projects, tooling, service improvements, and knowledge sharing.
- You will not be expected to lead engagements immediately, but we will coach you toward that during the introductory period.
Requirements
- 1–3 years’ experience in a technical or IT role (helpdesk, support, systems admin, cloud, networking, or security).
- A solid understanding, or hands on familiarity, with some Microsoft technologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence working directly with people.
- A genuine interest in cybersecurity, a willingness to continuously learn, ambitions to contribute to the cybersecurity community and our company’s growth, and an incredible degree of agency and enthusiasm.
- Great organisational skills and the ability to manage tasks across multiple projects.
- Certifications would be a bonus, including: SC900 AZ900, SC300, or SC200 Or any progress toward Microsoft cybersecurity certifications.
