About the role
- Security Engineer developing secure solutions and architectures for Disney's Global Information Security. Proactively assesses and mitigates cyber threats to safeguard Disney's technology ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement secure solutions and reference architectures that align with business objectives
- Provide situation-based guidance during solution design
- Translate security requirements into scalable technical controls
- Execute advanced risk and threat analysis activities
- Create and maintain security architecture artifacts
- Support governance through documentation of control mapping and compliance alignment
- Document engineering designs, security findings, risk decisions, and solution status
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in Security Architecture & Engineering
- 3+ years’ experience securing workloads and services in public cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Proven ability to create conceptual, logical, and physical security architecture diagrams
- Experience in designing and implementing security controls, including those for information protection, identity and access management
- Strong working knowledge of risk analysis methodologies and design of compensating controls
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance programs
