About the role

  • Director of Compensation overseeing the compensation strategy for Disney Entertainment. Driving change and ensuring competitive compensations across teams in Burbank and New York.

Responsibilities

  • Play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the compensation strategy for Disney Entertainment
  • Drive transformational change by ensuring competitive and equitable compensation programs
  • Direct and implement comprehensive compensation strategies and plans that align with Disney's overall business objectives
  • Lead and manage a team of compensation managers and professionals
  • Collaborate with DET Compensation Leadership to drive high-impact projects
  • Analyze market trends and data to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to influence and drive compensation decisions
  • Oversee the administration of compensation programs
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to compensation
  • Communicate compensation strategies and programs to stakeholders
  • Proactively assess and enhance compensation processes for efficiency.

Requirements

  • Master consulting skills and proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders
  • Extensive experience in compensation strategy development and execution
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in compensation analysis and market data interpretation
  • Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations related to compensation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinking and ability to align compensation programs with business objectives
  • High level of accountability and integrity.
  • Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible management experience in a compensation or related field.
  • Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Preferred Qualification & Experience).
