- Independent decision-making ability and results orientation
- Technical expertise in coverage analysis, compensability, and evaluation of claims
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance or related field
- Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designation
- Associate in Claims (AIC) designation
- CPCU coursework or other continuing education
