About the role
- Business Architect responsible for aligning business capabilities with strategic objectives in Personal Insurance. Collaborates across IT and business to deliver technology roadmaps and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Supplements the Personal Insurance business vision with desired capabilities
- Maintains the long term capabilities roadmap aligned to the business strategy
- Partners with the business and value stream owners to understand the overarching vision
- Advises and proposes solutions, then facilitates and consults on implementation
- Facilitates capability prioritization activities through examination of opportunity costs
- Develops overall business architectural direction and blueprints
- Creates, maintains, and evolves business capability models
- Documents current state and identifies possible improvements
- Aligns strategic objectives with requirements and business operations
- Maintains business relationships with functional leaders
- Presents cohesive models, capability blueprints and roadmaps to executives
