About the role

  • Client Accountant supporting financial management of income and expenditure at The Crown Estate. Responsible for producing client reports and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

  • Support the raising of service charges and rental income
  • Manage accounting for other income and maintain reconciliations
  • Produce completion statements for property sales and lease terminations
  • Process tenant drawdowns/refunds as instructed by surveyors
  • Liaise with site staff to ensure service charge expenditure accuracy and report variances
  • Assist with regular client reports and ad hoc reporting to surveyors and solicitors
  • Collaborate with the wider client accounting team to manage workload effectively

Requirements

  • Knowledge or experience of basic accounting/bookkeeping
  • Minimum GCSE level education (Maths and English at grade C or above)
  • Good computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
