About the role
- Technical Partner in weapon system design for Thales, ensuring compliance and strategic vision. Supporting technical solutions and validation processes in an inclusive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Participate in tender responses for long-range munition systems
- Produce design validation documents (DVa)
- Ensure that technical solutions meet the requirements expressed by customers
- Lead technical risk and opportunity analyses for products
- Establish a strategic vision and a clear roadmap for product development
- Ensure that designs comply with customer requirements
- Validate qualification programs for products or their subsystems
- Provide technical expertise to support the investigation and resolution of technical issues
- Implement ongoing monitoring to track technological and strategic market developments
Requirements
- Master’s degree (equivalent to French Bac+5) from an engineering school with a specialization in systems architecture
- Experience in system and/or munition specification and design
- Knowledge of drone development
- Guidance/Control: inertial navigation technologies (INS), GNSS, etc.
- Experience with systems engineering tools such as DOORS, POLARION, JIRA and/or functional modeling tools such as CAPELLA
