About the role
- Construction Engineer responsible for calculations in timber engineering and civil engineering projects. Working on large-scale public construction projects in a modern family-owned company in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of estimates and tender offers for large-scale projects in timber engineering, building construction, and public-sector projects
- Analysis and preparation of tender documents for public projects
- Preparation of tender documentation and development of detailed cost calculations
- Evaluation of subcontractor bids and preparation of contract awards
- Close collaboration with project sales, project management, external partners and authorities
Requirements
- Experience in estimating timber engineering structures and/or building construction projects
- Solid knowledge of public-sector projects
- Strong structural and cost/pricing understanding
- Entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication skills, commitment and ability to work in a team
