About the role

Responsibilities
- Support on projects in the field of ground engineering/geotechnics (preparation and production of geotechnical site reports and foundation engineering calculations/recommendations, excavation inspections, geotechnical construction supervision)
- Planning and development of investigation concepts and supervision of their implementation
- Maintaining and expanding business relationships with our clients
- Acting as interface with specialist planners and advising clients and site managers
- Participating in business development, negotiations and coordination with our clients, project partners and authorities
- Managing resource allocation, including coordination of subcontractors on your projects
Requirements
- Master’s degree in geosciences or civil engineering with a specialization in civil/substructure engineering (Tiefbau) or equivalent
- Several years of professional/practical experience in the listed areas and readiness for the next career step (desirable)
- Interest in a mix of site-based and office-based work
- Experience in client support as well as in acquiring new clients
- Strong organizational and communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Proficient German language skills for social and professional use (minimum C1 level in spoken and written German)
- Confident use of MS Office and, where applicable, knowledge of geo-specific software (GGU programs) as well as tendering software
- Willingness to travel and possession of a Class B driving license
