Responsibilities
- Focus on the delivery of civil site development projects
- Assist in the design, construction, and project management of projects involving grading design, stormwater design, erosion control design, culvert design, and pavement design
- Professional will have hands-on involvement in permitting process
- Professional will have significant interaction with multi-disciplinary internal teams and external clients
- Perform design of projects from conceptual and bid phase through design completion for project needs and requirements
- Assist the Engineering Manager in maintaining project schedules and budgets
- Interface directly with the client or sub-consultants
- Support business development through writing of technical approaches, scopes of work, and presentations to clients
- Responsible for effective communication with other engineering disciplines and project team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Thorough understanding of civil site development (i.e., Site Plans, Permitting, Grading, Storm Water Management, Storm Water Design)
- Ability and motivation to lead portions of complex projects with guidance and mentorship
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience
