Senior Manager in FP&A overseeing consolidation, forecasting, and cost optimization at Tenneco. Seeking dynamic candidate in fast-paced, private-equity-backed finance team.
Responsibilities
Financial Consolidation & Reporting: Oversee the consolidation of financial results across the Americas region. Prepare and maintain financial templates and reports to ensure accurate and timely management reporting.
Forecasting & Pacing: Manage the rolling forecast process, including pacing and variance analysis. Provide insights into trends and drivers that impact financial performance.
SG&A Ownership: Take ownership of overall SG&A & Engineering cost forecasting, working with department heads to manage budgets, track expenses, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
Process Simplification & Efficiency: Lead initiatives to streamline and simplify financial processes, reducing redundancies and improving efficiency. Proficiency with Excel is required, and experience with analytics tools such as Power BI and ERP systems such as SAP is a strong plus.
Adaptability in a PE Environment: Thrive in a private-equity-backed environment where priorities may shift rapidly. Be prepared to adapt to new processes and evolving business needs, maintaining a flexible and resilient approach.
Analytical Excellence: Demonstrate strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. Support decision-making with robust data analysis and a keen understanding of financial pacing.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or relevant certification is a plus).
5 years of experience in FP&A, with strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with tools like Power BI or similar analytics platforms.
Proven ability to simplify and streamline financial processes, reducing inefficiencies and enhancing reporting accuracy.
Strong adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced, private-equity-owned environment, with the ability to pivot as business needs evolve.
