Responsibilities
- Monitor the full Vulnerability Management cycle, from identification through verification of final remediation, tracking deadlines.
- Rigorously control the addition and removal of scanned assets, ensuring all relevant assets are under monitoring.
- Adjust security baselines according to client policies to ensure appropriate protection.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Tempest and the client, facilitating communication and addressing technical conflicts.
- Receive and analyze client requests related to vulnerability management, proposing solutions that comply with security standards.
- Proactively identify process issues and propose measures to optimize response times.
- Generate detailed reports on the status of vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- Expertise with Qualys: Solid experience implementing and managing this platform in complex environments.
- Networking and Protocols: Deep knowledge of TCP/IP (addressing, routing, and application protocols).
- Operating Systems: Technical ability to understand vulnerabilities at the OS and application levels.
- English: Technical-level proficiency for interacting with the vendor (Qualys) support and reading documentation.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree completed (or near completion) in Computer Science, Information Security, Networking, or Engineering.
- Writing Skills: Ability to produce clear technical documents and reports for different audiences.
- Communication and Proactivity: Ease in liaising between technical teams and management.
- Organization and Commitment: Essential to manage a large volume of assets and meet critical client deadlines.
