Responsibilities
Lead the technical roadmap by translating product vision and strategic objectives into clear, organized execution plans
Oversee the technical architecture of key components through close collaboration with cross-functional teams
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing, autonomous team
Collaborate with the product team, business stakeholders, and senior leadership
Promote and implement engineering best practices
Use performance assessments and system observability data to track key metrics
Identify risks early, resolve conflicts, and remove blockers
Requirements
At least 7 years of hands-on software engineering experience as an individual contributor
At least 3 years in engineering management or technical leadership
Proven ability to mentor and coach software developers in a direct manager role
Strong technical knowledge for building and operating large-scale, high-volume backend systems
Hands-on experience with modern cloud technologies (Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Azure), event-driven architecture, and microservices
Proficiency with performance, quality, and velocity metrics to enable data-driven decision-making
Experience with modern software development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex technical solutions in a clear and logical manner
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
