About the role
- Senior Cybersecurity Sales Specialist joining TELUS to elevate customer experience across Canada. Driving change and delivering results in the Montreal cybersecurity market through strategic consultation and account management.
Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with senior executives (CIO, CISO, CEO, CFO).
- Lead cybersecurity posture assessments to identify risks and opportunities.
- Position TELUS as a strategic advisor.
- Own and grow Cybersecurity accounts in Quebec’s Public Sector and Enterprise segments.
- Collaborate with high-performing field account teams to uncover new opportunities.
- Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing deals.
- Identify areas where TELUS Security can add value and address specific business needs.
- Partner with internal teams to deliver exceptional results.
Requirements
- 5-7 years managing large, complex accounts in the cybersecurity industry.
- Proven sales expertise in Mid-Market/Enterprise/Public Sector accounts.
- Consultative selling, executive engagement, and a knack for translating technical requirements into business value.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS) and solutions like Managed Detection & Response, Incident Response, and IAM.
- Advanced knowledge of English is required; proficiency in French, written and spoken is required.
- Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
