About the role

Responsibilities
- You will help protect TELUS Health, its clients, and its stakeholders against cyber threats
- You will be responsible for assessing, implementing, and maintaining security controls and processes
- You will review contractual clauses related to security requirements for all clients
- You will review clients' security risk assessments and respond to security questionnaires
- You will provide transparent, verifiable outcomes to validate compliance with security frameworks
- You will contribute to the development of repeatable and sustainable processes
- You will build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
Requirements
- 3 to 4 years of experience in cybersecurity within a fast-paced commercial environment
- 3 to 5 years of proven technical security experience across infrastructure, applications, and network systems, preferably in a consulting or assurance role
- Strong experience applying core technical security standards from both internal and external sources
- Demonstrated experience with security control frameworks such as ISO 27001 and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in terms appropriate to the audience
- Advanced proficiency in English is required, as you will frequently interact with external parties in English
