About the role

  • Improve automation capabilities of the in-house regulatory tool and its modules
  • Interpret technical documents that define methodologies for interference analysis and write code to implement them
  • Perform interference analyses using the developed code and validate its results against third-party software
  • Design and carry out test cases for software verification
  • Maintain and develop internal documentation related to the activities above
  • Create code to connect to the to BR IFIC Beta using APIs in order to automate data collection from new IFIC’s

Requirements

  • Completed minimum 3rd year in a Bachelor of Engineering program in Canada
  • Electrical Engineering, Space Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering strongly preferred
  • Radio frequency (RF) and satellite communication theory an asset
  • Matlab programming skills
  • Skilled in other programming languages (e.g. Python) or tools (i.e. STK) an asset
  • Experience using software version control system (e.g. Git) an asset
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Strong technical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
