About the role
- Engineering Technician C performing inspections and engineering record maintenance on pipeline projects. Works under supervision ensuring adherence to safety and company operating procedures.
Responsibilities
- Performs duties and increases skill in inspection and related paperwork and other engineering and record maintenance activities associated with the construction and inspection of Company projects.
- Completes necessary paperwork and inputs data into company record systems as required.
- Performs field inspection and develops field notes for construction projects.
- Inspects the installation of cathodic protection devices as required and ensure that they are working properly.
- Coordinates with other project inspection roles to ensure effective project oversight
Requirements
- Must pass a qualifying test.
- Completed vocational or technical training in an Engineering or Construction Management Program (degree or certificate).
- Three years’ direct experience or formal training in pipeline construction, pipeline maintenance or system operations (EGO experience in C&M, GM&R, Live Gas Tapping).
- Three years’ experience in natural gas pipeline design.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
