Requirements
- Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Safety Engineering, Security and Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering with a technical focus, or completed technical vocational training as an Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, Industrial Mechanic or equivalent.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the current state of the art and of the applicable standards in safeguarding and safety engineering.
- Solid knowledge of relevant statutory and subordinate regulations such as the Atomic Energy Act, the KTA regulatory framework, the Radiation Protection Act, as well as the applicable SEWD and BMU guidelines.
- Experience in the licensing, regulatory oversight, and documentation of nuclear facilities.
- Ability to prepare complex technical issues precisely and present them in an understandable way for different target audiences.
- Confident, audience-appropriate communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid user knowledge and practical experience with MS Office applications.
