Responsibilities
- Participate in the development and maintenance of geospatial information systems.
- Design and develop application components in a .NET environment.
- Develop geomatics functionalities using ArcGIS and ArcObjects technologies.
- Design and implement geospatial processing workflows using FME.
- Contribute to the management and integration of geospatial data within information systems.
- Deploy and maintain geospatial solutions in ArcGIS Server environments.
- Participate in the integration of web geospatial platforms using Geocortex.
- Collaborate with functional analysis and architecture teams.
- Contribute to optimizing the performance of geospatial processing.
- Document technical solutions and ensure knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in geomatics, computer science, or a relevant discipline.
- Have at least eight (8) years of experience as a programmer-analyst in the development or maintenance of information systems using a relational DBMS.
- Have at least three (3) years of .NET development experience using ArcGIS libraries (ArcObjects).
- Have at least two (2) years of experience developing or automating geospatial processes with FME.
- Have at least two (2) years of development experience in a Unix or Linux environment.
- Have practical knowledge of command-line and scripting in a Unix or Linux environment.
- Have at least one (1) year of experience with ArcGIS Server.
- Have at least one (1) year of experience with the Geocortex platform.
- Have a solid understanding of geospatial system architectures.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
