About the role

  • Analista de PCP Senior responsible for strategic planning and control of production in innovative industry. Ensuring balance between demand, productivity capacity, stocks, and service level.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, review and control the master production schedule;
  • Break down the production plan into monthly, weekly and daily schedules, ensuring adherence and correct prioritization;
  • Update the production timetable and issue production orders in the ERP;
  • Generate and monitor all requirements derived from the production plan, anticipating fulfillment risks;
  • Recommend increases or reductions in production capacity based on demand, resource and constraint studies;
  • Conduct capacity analysis, Takt Time, OEE, line balancing, scenario simulation and production resource studies;
  • Control raw material and input inventory to prevent production stoppages due to material shortages or excess stock;
  • Issue purchase requests and follow up through receipt with Purchasing and Logistics;
  • Monitor the production process, ensuring deadlines, volumes and quality are met;
  • Work with Production to ensure on-time, in-full delivery (OTIF);
  • Monitor losses, scrap and discarded parts, ensuring traceability and reliability of information;
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Logistics to resolve deviations;
  • Monitor, analyze and maintain the company's OEE systems, ensuring data reliability;
  • Support leadership in decision-making with a focus on cost, productivity and efficiency;
  • Lead and support continuous improvement projects related to planning, production flow and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering or Business Administration;
  • Solid experience in PPC in an industrial environment;
  • Advanced knowledge of: capacity planning, production sequencing, inventory management, OEE and industrial KPIs, and production costing;
  • Experience with ERP systems;
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset;
  • Desirable knowledge of production concepts and methodologies: WIP, KANBAN, Standard Time, OEE, MRP, etc.;
  • Strong communication, organization, prioritization, critical thinking and strategic planning skills.
