About the role

  • Finance Analyst managing project funding for renewable energy initiatives in a hybrid role. Involvement in M&A, financial modeling, and corporate financing for the group.

Responsibilities

  • Financing of renewable energy power plant projects, primarily photovoltaic and anaerobic digestion (biogas)
  • Prepare financing applications
  • Launch banking consultations (solicit proposals from banks)
  • Prepare and maintain data rooms
  • Develop financial models
  • Analyze various due diligence reports
  • M&A: Study investment opportunities in France and internationally (India, Spain, Netherlands)
  • Modeling and valuation of Ready-to-Build and operational projects that are of strategic interest to the Group
  • Conduct due diligences on development, technical, legal and financial matters
  • Contribute to the development of financial models
  • Create presentation materials for investment committees
  • Corporate financing: Build our financial models for the Group’s different business activities
  • Implement financing arrangements at the Group level
  • Prepare committee memos (risks and opportunities, analyses, commitments)
  • Valuation of our assets
  • Financing contract lifecycle: Update the Group debt monitoring tool
  • Prepare annual reporting (bank covenants/ratios, financial statements, etc.) for lenders and to fulfill the various commitments set out in financing contracts.

Requirements

  • Final-year student or on an academic gap year at a top engineering or business school, or equivalent university program
  • Basic knowledge of financial modeling, accounting and tax concepts, financial mathematics and valuation techniques (NPV, IRR, DCF)
  • Efficient, rigorous, autonomous and focused on meeting deadlines
  • Professional-level English required and strong proficiency with office tools, particularly Excel
