About the role

  • Project Manager at TD leading medium-high risk projects in technology solutions for global operations. Responsible for project planning, financial management, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and deliver distinct projects
  • Indirectly manage project team(s) consisting of Business Analysts, Business SMEs and technology resources
  • Engage Executive Sponsor, senior leadership, and other key stakeholder groups
  • Provide on-going communication to key stakeholders
  • Respond to inquiries and escalate concerns from stakeholders at all levels
  • Deliver project outcomes aligned to established cost, timing, deliverable and scope objectives
  • Generate cost estimates and provide project financial management
  • Proactively identify and track project risk and develop mitigation plans

Requirements

  • 4-6 plus years progressive project/program-related experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the practices, procedures and principles of project management whether PDLC or Agile methodology
  • Exposure with financial management with respect to tracking, forecasting and managing project budgets
  • Team player with ability to lead and influence to achieve results through effective negotiation and problem solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Regulatory experience in Canadian financial institutions (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of key applications: Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Office 365, and Clarity PPM for project delivery
