Responsibilities
- Gather and translate business data extraction and consumption requirements into technical specifications
- Ensure proper data ingestion, curation, and consumption
- Clarify solution designs that support business strategies
- Document, prototype and validate current and future state data flow processes
- Provide subject matter expertise by identifying relevant business processes affecting data curation
- Develop and maintain knowledge of available data from upstream sources
- Ensure business data and information is retained and disposed in compliance with enterprise data standards
- Perform data profiling using TD tooling and ad hoc system query languages
- Lead the investigation of root causes for data issues
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
- 3+ years of relevant experience from a business administration, statistical, mathematical, scientific or financial background
- Expert level conceptual and practical knowledge for own area of specialty
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiar with visualization tools
- 3+ years of experience in banking domain, strong documentation skill set data dictionaries, meta data, requirements, mappings
- 3+ years of understanding how data is structured, connected, governed and used across data products
- 3+ years of experience with data models, data product life cycle
- 3+ years of experience with data quality and data governance principles
