About the role
- Warehouse Network & Design Specialist developing transport strategies for EMEA region. Supporting logistics and operations with collaborations across internal and external teams.
Responsibilities
- Support the strategic and operational development of the distribution and transport network across the EMEA region
- Analyze existing goods and transport flows, perform scenario modeling and cost–benefit analyses
- Design transport strategies such as hub-and-spoke models, cross-dock concepts and last-mile solutions
- Maintain and improve performance metrics (KPIs), dashboards and master data
- Drive projects related to digitization, automation and sustainability in transport and distribution
- Work closely with internal teams (Logistics, IT, Finance, Quality) and external partners
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in designing transport networks, logistics planning or supply-chain optimization—ideally in an international environment
- Analytical, solution-oriented and detail-focused working style
- Confident and persuasive communication across functions and cultures
- Proficient with transport modeling and network optimization tools as well as analytics platforms
- Knowledge of ISO, HSE and GDP compliance and sustainable logistics practices
- Familiar with tools such as Power BI, Excel, SQL and other analytics platforms
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 10%
