About the role
- Business Insights Analyst II delivering insights and analysis to support TD Insurance's initiatives. Collaborating with business partners to drive strategic planning and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Conduct complex portfolio and transaction analysis
- Accelerate profitable growth by unlocking initiatives and providing opportunities
- Identify emerging trends to accelerate growth in alignment with business objectives
- Summarize and communicate analytical findings to leaders and stakeholders
- Present data-driven insights to support informed decision-making
- Recommend strategies for operational improvements and customer acquisition
- Analyze customer profiles to attract and retain high-value customers
- Translate data into actionable insights through hypothesis testing and analysis
- Extract, transform and validate data using SQL, Python, R
- Develop and maintain dashboards using tools such as Excel, Tableau, and POSIT
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business Intelligence, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Actuarial Science, or a related field
- At least five (5) years of relevant experience
- Expertise in analytics, data analysis, and statistical analysis
- Experience in the general insurance industry
- Bilingual in English and French
- Proficiency in programming languages (SQL, Python, R)
- Strong analytical mindset with sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
