About the role

  • Contribute to the technical development of assigned menswear categories, maintaining fit consistency, product quality, and on-time execution.
  • Create detailed tech packs using Backbone PLM and Adobe Creative Suite — including specs, BOMs, graded measurements, and construction details.
  • Lead fit sessions (in-person and virtual), document fit comments, and partner with factories to deliver actionable revisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Merchandising, and Production teams to troubleshoot technical challenges and streamline development.
  • Maintain organized fit libraries, digital patterns, and sample tracking logs.
  • Manage multiple seasonal calendars and sample rounds with precision and clarity.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with overseas partners to keep product development running smoothly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Design, Fashion Design, or related field.
  • 5+ years of technical design experience in menswear, with a strong understanding of fit across outerwear, knits, wovens, and bottoms.
  • Skilled in pattern making, grading, and garment construction analysis.
  • Proficient in Adobe CS, Google Sheets/Docs, and ideally Backbone PLM, Asana, Gerber/Accumark, and Slack.
  • Experienced working with domestic and international factories.
  • Exceptionally organized, analytical, and calm under pressure — able to juggle multiple priorities without missing a stitch.
  • Strong communicator who brings a solutions-oriented mindset to every challenge.
