About the role
- IT Service Operations Manager overseeing service quality for NOC/SOC and Cyber Security operations. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure stability and compliance across IT services.
Responsibilities
- Ensure service quality across the entire operations lifecycle (servers, storage, network, virtualization, OS, databases, applications)
- Seamlessly transition new services from projects into stable production operations
- Manage incident and outage handling; maintain close coordination with NOC/SOC and customers
- Plan, align and implement change and release processes with all relevant stakeholders
- Produce and analyze SLA reports; identify trends and drive corrective actions and escalations
- Maintain and continuously improve operations and process documentation; embed compliance and security requirements
- Occasional travel within the DACH region
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics or equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience as a Service Manager in a NOC/SOC or a similar role; highly confident in customer-facing situations
- Experience with service architectures (Windows, Linux, virtualization) and hypervisors (VMware, Hyper‑V, KVM)
- Confident with networking technologies: VLANs, routing, firewall rules, load balancers
- ITIL knowledge and proven experience with IT service management processes; monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Nagios, Zabbix, Dynatrace
- Experience in risk and security management, ideally ISO 27001; knowledge of project and change management is a plus
- Very good German and good English skills; proactive, structured and resilient; driving license class B
