About the role

  • Project and process expert leading supply chain initiatives at HARMAN Automotive. Focus on improving efficiency and organizational resilience in diverse, cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Supply Chain (SC) standards playbook (e.g., BMS) to ensure global accessibility and compliance
  • Define process indicators to support deviation analysis and drive global performance optimization
  • Identify and replicate best practices from high-performing teams across SCM
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives with minimum guidance
  • Map and analyze current end-to-end SC processes using tools like flowcharts and process mapping
  • Optimize cross-functional processes across Demand & Supply Planning, Supply Framework, Logistics, Inventory, and Plant Logistics
  • Promote global standardization of processes, policies, and metrics
  • Simplify processes and eliminate inefficiencies
  • Represent SCM in all internal and external audit activities
  • Support and deliver end-to-end SCM and cross-functional projects as defined by the business

Requirements

  • A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • At least 3+ years of experience in supply chain, program management, or management consulting
  • Technical expertise in project and program management methodologies (PMP, Agile, Lean PMO)
  • Strong proficiency in SAP, with in-depth knowledge of IBP and S4HANA highly preferred, along with expertise in Microsoft applications and business intelligence tools
  • Proven experience with SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), including strong hands-on usage; prior involvement in SAP IBP implementation projects is highly preferred
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional projects with substantial impact on business operations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting demands
  • Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills, with experience influencing senior executives
  • Experience in managing external vendors and driving accountability in complex supply chain projects
  • Resilience and adaptability to manage complex projects in a dynamic environment
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
