Responsibilities
Act in the planning, implementation, administration and monitoring of corporate networks, ensuring high availability, performance and security of on‑premises and cloud network environments.
Design and implement LAN, WAN, WLAN and VPN network solutions, defining topologies, protocols, security standards and traffic capacity.
Administer and configure switches, routers, firewalls and access points, working with protocols such as TCP/IP, VLAN, STP, OSPF and BGP.
Implement network security policies, segmentation, access control and secure connectivity between environments.
Monitor network performance, analyzing indicators such as latency, packet loss and availability, and act proactively to prevent incidents.
Perform advanced troubleshooting of connectivity failures, providing level 2 and level 3 technical support and working on critical incidents and change windows.
Configure and manage networks in cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP), including VPCs, subnets, gateways and hybrid integrations with on‑premises environments.
Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation, network diagrams and operational standards, supporting governance, audit and compliance processes.
Work collaboratively with Security, Infrastructure, DevOps and Telecom teams, supporting projects and the evolution of the network environment.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (completed)
Experience in administration, configuration and troubleshooting of corporate IP networks
Knowledge of routing and switching (TCP/IP, VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP)
Experience configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls and VPNs (IPSec and SSL)
Knowledge of network security policies, segmentation, ACLs, NAT and QoS
Experience with network monitoring tools (Zabbix, PRTG, SolarWinds or similar)
Experience providing level 2 and level 3 technical support and resolving critical incidents
Experience or knowledge of networking in cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP)
Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and network diagrams
Differential / Nice to have:
Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) or equivalent
Experience in hybrid environments (on‑premises + cloud)
Knowledge of governance best practices and frameworks (ITIL, ISO, LGPD)
Technical English for reading documentation and interacting with vendors
