About the role

  • Senior Health, Safety and Environment Technician managing SSMA compliance in industrial projects. Leading a safety team and ensuring legal conformity in various industrial settings.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical reference for Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) across the company’s contracts and projects
  • Manage the HSE team, promoting technical development, aligning priorities, monitoring deliverables and strengthening a prevention-focused safety culture
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance (Regulatory Standards and other applicable legislation) in all areas of operation
  • Oversee mobilization of personnel to industrial projects, ensuring compliance with contractual and legal requirements
  • Manage documentation in client platforms and internal control systems
  • Monitor field activities to ensure no exposure to hazards and to promote preventive actions
  • Conduct risk analyses, safety inspections and incident investigations
  • Control and manage PPE (stock, records, traceability and technical suitability)
  • Interface with occupational health service providers and ensure documentary compliance
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring organization and technical evidence
  • Develop and implement safety, occupational health and environmental policies, programs and campaigns
  • Train and guide employees and leaders on standards, processes and best practices
  • Propose continuous improvements to HSE processes, especially in industrial environments

Requirements

  • Completed Technical Degree in Occupational Safety (or equivalent)
  • Active registration with the Ministry of Labor (MTE)
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Experience with mobilization and document management for industrial contracts
  • Experience monitoring field activities
  • Strong knowledge of Regulatory Standards (NRs)
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
  • Previous experience leading or coordinating an HSE team is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering or related fields is a plus
  • Experience with integrator companies or industrial services providers is a plus
