About the role
- Supply Chain Operations Systems Manager overseeing Warehouse Management Systems for Guest Worldwide. Managing system integrity, leading implementations, and supporting operational efficiency in the distribution network.
Responsibilities
- Serves as Subject Matter Expert and primary technical support for Supply Chain Systems (WMS, TMS, LMS)
- Ensures operational system integrity through setup, configuration, code promotion, and control processes
- Monitors system performance, performs maintenance and backups as needed
- Serves as project lead for systems implementations and leads User Acceptance Testing
- Interfaces with Operations staff to review procedures and maximize efficiencies
- Coordinates with Information Technology to resolve upstream/downstream systems issues
- Provides regular communication to Operations and internal departments on operational matters
- Establishes root cause analysis and manages technical resolution pipeline
- Designs and develops tools for analyzing operational activities
- Conducts feasibility analysis on processes and equipment
- Calculates cost/benefit and business impact and proposes solutions
- Investigates and recommends new technologies and information systems
- Identifies areas for improving service levels, reducing costs, and enhancing operations
- Develops standardized and ad hoc reporting for site, management and customers
- Serves as site expert on WMS logic and functionality
- Trains Operations team on using WMS and related systems
- Ensures compliance with Standard Operating Procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in: Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 6 years with exceptional Tier-1 Warehouse Management Systems experience (High Jump preferred)
- 2-4 years’ experience working with ERP technical functionality (Microsoft Dynamics Preferred)
- Systems implementation and systems project management experience preferred.
