About the role

Responsibilities
- Patrol facilities on foot and by vehicle to maintain a visible security presence.
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to alarms and irregular activity.

- Provide escorts for employees, vendors, and approved visitors.
- Respond to incidents by assessing the situation, requesting assistance when needed, and following escalation procedures.
- Direct traffic and manage site flow when required.
- Support shipping, receiving, and internal mail distribution as assigned.
- Communicate clearly with staff, customers, and emergency responders.
- Follow all legal, safety, and company requirements while on duty.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
- Valid drivers license.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Five or more years of prior security experience (preferred).
- Experience working in controlled or high-security environments (preferred).
- Familiarity with surveillance systems and access control tools (preferred).
