About the role
- Manager of Industrial Security at L3Harris overseeing compliance with federal security regulations and leadership of security programs for classified materials. Responsible for audits, training, and program implementation ensuring compliance.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring program compliance with all corporate and government requirements and directives
- Researching and implementing federal security regulations, maintaining knowledge and awareness of interdisciplinary compliance requirements
- Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies
- Prepare manuals outlining regulations, and establish procedures for handling, storing, retaining records, and access by personnel or visitors to restricted records and materials
- Conduct security education training and security audits
- Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken
- Collect, assimilate, and interpret intelligence information and disseminate to the appropriate stakeholder or investigating authority
- Process and manage subcontract DD254s and disseminate to the GCA as required
- Implementation of NISPOM, eFCR 32, part 117, and DoDM 5200.01 volumes 1-4 and IC Directives
- Communicate with parties within and outside of the organization which includes customers or vendors
- Ability to apply NISP, DoD, ICD, and corporate security policies
- Conducting self-inspections and participating in government industrial security assessments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
- Active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI
- Experience with security processes and procedures within the DoD and IC communities
