International Program Underwriting Analyst driving program implementation and service delivery for Swiss Re's global insurance operations. Innovating processes and building stakeholder relationships across diverse teams.
Responsibilities
Drive International Program implementation from end-to-end, ensuring quality, consistency, and excellent service across international insurance programs
Coordinate crucial processes including Pre-Quote/Pre-Bind activities, service exceptions, and endorsement issuance between Producing Offices and Local Offices/Network Partners
Prepare precise instructions for the International Program Service Unit, Credit Control, Reinsurance, and local offices in a timely manner
Monitor performance metrics to identify bottlenecks, maintain service levels, and ensure operational excellence
Maintain data integrity across systems and tools with meticulous attention to detail
Develop expertise in processes, systems, and continuous improvement opportunities
Collaborate effectively with Underwriters, Customer & Distribution Managers, support teams, and functional partners
Provide technical guidance on international program processes, compliance requirements, and system usage
Build strong relationships with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders across the global network
Support underwriting activities including preliminary deal analysis, program documentation, and policy issuance coordination
Contribute to projects and initiatives that enhance our operational capabilities.
Requirements
2-4 years' experience in International Insurance Program Business or relevant insurance/underwriting support roles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook)
Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and a quality-driven approach
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
Knowledge of Property, Casualty, FinPro, Energy or Real Estate lines of business (nice to have)
Experience working in a global matrix organization (nice to have)
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and implement process improvements (nice to have)
Demonstrated adaptability and enthusiasm for learning new systems and processes (nice to have)
