About the role

  • Marketing Measurement & Insights Manager driving data-driven insights that shape Sun Life's GRS marketing strategy. Collaborating with teams to transform complex data into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sun Life's Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Strategy teams to prepare data insights and reporting packages for GRS senior leadership and CXO stakeholders
  • Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards that highlight key trends, performance metrics, and business outcomes specific to GRS member engagement and retirement planning behaviors
  • Translate complex data into concise, honest, and understandable insights that inform decision-making and align with Sun Life's strategic priorities
  • Support regular reporting cycles and ad-hoc analysis requests for GRS Marketing leadership
  • Support the GRS Marketing team in managing dashboards to measure and track omni-channel campaign performance across Sun Life's digital and traditional marketing channels
  • Conduct in-depth analysis across GRS marketing campaigns and provide strategic recommendations to improve member engagement and drive retirement savings behaviors
  • Track end-to-end campaign performance for GRS initiatives, including forecasting and financial impact, to optimize effectiveness and ROI in support of Sun Life's growth objectives
  • Identify actionable insights to meet and exceed performance targets for member acquisition, retention, and engagement within the GRS portfolio
  • Develop and maintain measurement tools and processes to report on GRS Marketing team objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with Sun Life's broader business metrics
  • Ensure reporting frameworks are scalable, accurate, and aligned with Sun Life's organizational goals and compliance requirements
  • Create standardized reporting templates that support consistent measurement across GRS Marketing initiatives
  • Assist in the development of business cases and financial models for new GRS Marketing strategic initiatives that support Sun Life's growth and member value objectives
  • Evaluate investments in marketing technology and campaigns to identify opportunities for existing GRS plan sponsors and group members
  • Support business planning processes and contribute insights that inform Sun Life's GRS market positioning and competitive strategy
  • Proactively identify new areas for measurement and analysis within the GRS business, highlighting findings to senior leadership
  • Recommend innovative approaches to measurement and insights that enhance GRS Marketing effectiveness and align with Sun Life's digital transformation initiatives
  • Stay current with industry best practices in retirement services marketing and measurement methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, measurement, or insights roles, preferably within financial services or employee benefits
  • Strong expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) with experience presenting to senior leadership
  • Proficiency in analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and CRM/marketing automation tools relevant to B2B and member engagement
  • Experience with retirement services, group benefits, or wealth management analytics preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data for diverse audiences, including C-level executives
  • Experience in financial modeling and business case development within corporate environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset with ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in Canadian financial services preferred
  • Familiarity with Sun Life's business model and GRS market dynamics considered an asset.
