About the role
- Associate Director of CIM providing medical consultation and program leadership at Sun Life. Guiding the growth and integration of complementary and integrative medicine programs to enhance patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert medical consultation, strategic direction, and program leadership for CIM activities
- Establish the overall vision, mission, and strategic goals for PinnacleCare’s CIM program
- Lead the development and implementation of a multi-year strategic plan to expand CIM services
- Serve as PinnacleCare’s subject matter expert on complementary and integrative medicine
- Collaborate with the CMO and leadership to manage the CIM Medical Advisory Board
- Oversee program operations, productivity, and budget performance
- Develop strategies to advance the visibility and increase usage of CIM services
- Participate in complex case reviews and facilitate referrals to CIM clinicians
- Develop training and professional development programs on CIM approaches
- Represent the CIM program at meetings, conferences, and events
Requirements
- Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) degree from an accredited naturopathic medical college
- Board certification by the North American Board of Naturopathic Examiners
- Demonstrated experience in program leadership, strategic planning and service expansion within the field of integrative medicine
- Strong clinical foundation and working knowledge of Complementary, Alternative and Integrative modalities
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines
- Proven ability to balance clinical quality with financial and operational priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft office Suite
- Strong problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills.
